In the words of the classic Sesame Street song, one of these things is not like the other. But that doesn”t mean it”s not happening.
Producers of Transformers: The Last Knight announced today that Hopkins, the man who has too many awards to mention, has joined the cast of the upcoming movie about robots in disguise.
On the official Transformers Twitter page, they wrote, “The man, the myth, the legend – help us welcome Sir Anthony Hopkins to the #transformers universe.”
Hopkins, whose role has not yet been revealed, is the most recent addition to the film that will feature Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel. It will be directed by Michael Bay.
Transformers: The Last Knight is slated for a June 2017 release.
