Here’s the first full trailer for ‘American Crime Story’

The first full trailer for upcoming FX series “American Crime Story” is out, which means it's our first real look at the 10 episode season about the O.J. Simpson trial.

We've got a bunch of familiar actors playing familiar names, both from the 1995 trial and today (i.e. Selma Blair plays Kris Jenner, whose profile is now higher than pretty much anyone else associated with the trial). Cuba Gooding, Jr. is O.J. Simpson, John Travola is Robert Shapiro, Sarah Paulson is Marcia Clark, David Schwimmer is Robert Kardashian, Nathan Lane is F. Lee Bailey, and Courtney B. Vance is Johnnie Cochran.

“American Crime Story” is produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, who also created “American Horror Story” (they did not, however, create ACS). ACS has been described as a companion series to or a spin-off of AHS, although obviously the shows are very different. One way they are similar, though, is that each season will be basically new: ACS will focus on different true crime stories in subsequent seasons. I'm not sure if any can match the Simpson trial for pure sensationalist drama, though.

The series will premiere on February 2.
