Jake Gyllenhaal goes the action-adventure route in Summit Entertainment’s forthcoming “Source Code,” also starring Michele Monaghan, Jeffrey Wright and Vera Farmiga.
The sci-fi thriller was directed by Duncan Jones (“Moon”). After a horrific train explosion, a soldier (Gyllenhaal) travels back in time and wakes up on the train — in someone else’s body. In order to save the future, he must discover which passenger set off the bomb, before it detonates again.
The film premiered at SXSW yesterday (see photos from the premiere). It opens nationwide April 1.
