When you’re Jennifer Lawrence, avoiding the spotlight is a losing battle.
The “Hunger Games” actress seemed reticent to take the mic following her and her “American Hustle” co-stars’ win for Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture Drama at the 2014 SAG Awards on Saturday, but her wish of fading into the background at the subsequent press conference proved impossible when Bradley Cooper abandoned the group at the podium midway through – just as a member of the assembled press corps asked a question about transitioning from “Silver Linings Playbook” to “American Hustle.”
“Fuckin’ Cooper,” growled Lawrence after realizing her “Silver Linings” co-star had left the stage. “Alright, um..it really just felt like on seamless kind of…fuckin’, fuck you Cooper…movie, because once you work with David and you undertand how he works and you fall in line with that, and you fall in love with it, as I did, and then you go and you do ‘American Hustle.’ I mean, he doesn’t change, it’s always gonna be the same thing.”
Ok, so not the most artful answer – but hey, J-La f-bombs!
