First things first: doesn’t Ke$ha look the female version of Iggy Pop? It’s uncanny, and he’s the only person in the world who shirts less often than she does. Anyway, the Stooges frontman and glitter vomit incarnated worked together on a new song, “Dirty Love,” for the latter’s new album, Warrior, due out November 30th.
It’s ridiculous, with lyrics like “Champagne tastes like piss to me” sung in Ke$ha’s new Karen O-via-blown speakers voice, but that’s exactly the point; to criticize a Ke$ha song is like calling out American Horror Story for being too insane. For what it is, “Dirty Love” is great, even if the Santorum reference is already dated.
