Did you hear? There’s a State of the Union address tonight, President Obama‘s last, in fact. His team has even released a trailer for it.
With your standard inspirational soundtrack over it, an energetic-looking 2009 Obama promises that “we will recover” from the economic recession that he inherited from the Bush administration. The 2012 version announces, “Tonight, the American auto industry is back.” And in 2015, with a full head of gray hair, Obama touts triumphs in lowering the unemployment rate, increasing the high school graduation rate and the number of people with health insurance, and advances in solar power. We’ll see what he chooses to highlight during his final State of the Union address.
Meanwhile, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan may want some attention with this tweet:
The president & I don't agree on much. Might be hard to hide that in my facial expressions. https://t.co/nZSCZljVaK

The link is to a CNN article about how Ryan is practicing his “poker face” for tonight’s address, something that’s hard for him because “I’m an Irish guy, that’s what we do.”
Here’s what some Twitter users think of Ryan’s admission:

Harsh. Here’s a more irreverent take on Ryan’s struggle:

That should make things easier. The State of the Union airs at 9 p.m. EST on Tuesday.
