Even if you don’t live in the Northeast, you were still lucky enough to be subjected to round-the-clock news coverage of the blizzard that just hit the region because that is where the news lives. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart showed no mercy to the hysterical fearmongering on the part of cable news, whose reporters were suckered into demonstrating the dangers of snow on the ground, snow on the roof, and snow that might not even be sticking to anything. But frequent Daily Show target Don Lemon caught the most flack for this year’s newest gimmick, reporting from a moving vehicle — after the very network employing them warned everyone for hours to stay off the roads.
But if this is what it took to inspire Jordan Klepper to discuss Yemen on a bike, how mad can we be?
