This adorable little 6-year-old Welch girl named Maisie Gregory, dressed in a traditional Welsh garb, was excited to curtsy for Queen Elizabeth and give her a small bouquet of flowers. It’s honestly just the most precious thing in the world, until the Queen walks past a soldier who accidentally smacks the girl in the face in his reflex to salute.

I’m gonna be honest: No one else on the Uproxx staff wanted to touch this one, but because I’m the resident asshole who enjoys laughing at children, I naturally spit out a piece of broccoli when it happened. Poor Maisie.
