When he’s not too busy testing out whether or not all the cool stuff in Star Wars is real, which it totally is, Adam Savage of the Discovery Channel show MythBusters likes to relax in his workshop, idling away the hours to the slick licks of smooth jazz. That, or the horrendous communal screams of the “duck army” discovered by the internet back in August.
Savage got his hands on a few of the irritatingly squeaky dog toys and posted a video of himself having way too much fun to his Twitter account on Wednesday. Being the nerd that he is, Savage couldn’t resist an obvious Star Wars reference by quoting Obi-Wan Kenobi’s thoughtful comment upon “feeling” the destruction of the planet Alderaan at the hands of the Death Star:
I felt a great disturbance in
#TheForce, as if millions of voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
This begs the question — has anyone out there on the internet combined theses ducks’ screams with the Alderaan destruction scene from A New Hope? A cursory Google search says no, which means someone with mediocre video editing skills needs to make this happen now.
