The No. 3 team in the country, Ohio State, did exactly what the No. 3 team in the country is supposed to do when delivered a cupcake game. They beat the brakes off the Bryant University Bulldogs 86-48. Center Amir Williams helped lead the way posting the best all-around line of the night going 6-7 from the floor with 12 points, nine rebounds and six blocks.
The box score also shows Williams logged one turnover. Well, let’s just say, it was damn-near two thanks to a possible slip up of the ages. Interviewed by Jim Jackson, the junior admitted his play took a turn for the better all thanks to head coach Thad Matta being on his di…err back in practice.
To his credit, Amir played it off quite admirably. Part of me wishes he would’ve said “coach been on my dick all week” though, just to see everyone’s reactions.
