It really is kind of amazing to me that there could possibly be any unearthed video clips of President Obama still out there, what with the intense microscope someone in his position is put under these days. But the clip above — a “Black History Minute” spot that aired on TBS in 1991 — just surfaced out of thin air, remarkably, and was posted to YouTube.
How this went unnoticed until now is a baffling mystery to me, but it’s an interesting reminder that the president once wasn’t as polished and dynamic as he is today, or ten years ago — and that TBS once celebrated black history and culture with stuff that didn’t involve Tyler Perry. Oh how things have changed!
