Bart The Zombie Cat Will Live To Eat More Brains, Thanks To This Hero Cat

Here’s an update on Bart the “zombie cat,” that returned from the dead five days after being hit by a car and buried by his owner. Currently in the care of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, Bart was found to be anemic and needed a blood transfusion. That’s where the above “hero cat” (not to be confused with Tara the Hero Cat) Draco stepped in — also up for adoption at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. A post on their Facebook page reads:

#PetOfTheDay: DRACO, The Hero Cat! 3 years, 7 months old
Meet our brave, handsome boy, Draco. Although he is busy looking for a forever home, he took time out of his day on Wednesday to help a fellow Tuxedo! Bart the Miracle Cat was suffering from anemia and needed a blood transfusion. Draco was the perfect age, type and weight and happily shared his healthy blood. We think this young hero deserves to be spoiled for the rest of his days, starting NOW!

GREAT. NOW IT HAS A TASTE FOR BLOOD.

(In all seriousness, glad to hear Bart is recovering. I hope Draco finds his forever home and Bart’s owner spoils him with all of the Whiskas Temptations for the remainder of his eight lives.)
