Meet Cheng Chen, a Chinese electronic engineer so into Iron Man that he spent six months building himself a perfect replica of Tony Stark’s suit. The Daily Mail reports that Chen’s suit has everything: the mask, the LED gloves, even the power backpack. But it’s also got a huge problem: Chen can’t fit into it. He’s just too short and too fat.
The suit was originally meant to be for Chen’s brother, but the engineer decided he wanted it for himself:
Because I have always been single, I have a lot of time in my hands. The idea of constructing an Iron Man armour then came to mind’, he said.
‘I love the movie. Even my brother, now in Year 6, loves it. My initial idea was to make one for my little brother.’
Chen may be regretting it now that he’s spent so long building something he’ll never be able to wear. He even tried to get his cousin to try the suit on, but that didn’t work out so well either. His cousin, who’s taller, could only wear it sitting down.
Vanity, vanity. All is vanity. Also, plenty of stupid, vacuous adult children in China, too. http://t.co/FlZZMXUVga

Chen is currently looking for someone, anyone, else to wear the suit. It’s definitely a work of art — it’s just a pity Chen won’t be able to wear it himself.
