During a rally in Pensacola on Wednesday night, Donald Trump decided he didn’t like the microphone that had been provided for him at the event, which caused him to launch into a tirade in front of thousands of supporters. To the cheers and laughter of the crowd you can see in the above video, Trump interrupted himself mid-speech with the rant:
“By the way, I don’t like this mic. Whoever the hell brought this mic system, don’t pay the son of a bitch that put it in, I’ll tell you. No, this mic is terrible. Stupid mic keeps popping! Do you hear that, George? Don’t pay him! Don’t pay him! You know I believe in paying, but when somebody does a bad job, like this stupid mic, you shouldn’t pay the bastard. Terrible. Terrible! It’s true. And you gotta be tough with your people, because they’ll pay. They don’t care, they’ll pay. So, we’re not gonna pay. I guarantee I’m not paying for this mic. Every two minutes, I hear like, ‘Boom! Boom!'”
This isn’t the first time Trump has publicly berated the beleaguered audio-visual people tasked with putting on his events. Not just two weeks ago, Trump took a cameraman to task for panning over his “beautiful” crowd of supporters. That ought to teach these hard-working people who Don’t Make Enough Damn Money For This.
