Don’t Expect A New “Hulk” Movie Anytime Soon

Apparently twice was enough for Marvel. Even though the Hulk is getting a lot of praise in the “Avengers” movie, and Mark Ruffalo has said he’d be happy to reprise Bruce Banner, Kevin Feige, the guy in charge of the Marvel movies, has pretty much ruled it out.

That’s not really a surprise, economically speaking. Ang Lee’s 2003 “Hulk”, although becoming a popular cult film, didn’t set the box office on fire. And Louis Leterrier’s followup, despite being more popular with audiences, made almost exactly the same amount of money worldwide.

So as much as Hollywood seems to have tried and as much as some of us deeply love the Ang Lee version…actually, we can’t really say we’re too torn up about this one.

Maybe if it was all CGI, instead of just some serious actor occasionally turning green.
