T.I. gathers the entire Hustle Gang, one of the more diverse crews in Hip-Hop, for their new mixtape G.D.O.D. (Get Dough Or Die). A Texas veteran, a British upstart, a proven pop star, an Owl Pharaoh, oh…and Iggy Azalea, join Tip, Dro and a whole host of newcomers for 20 tracks that will ring off on paint chipped porches in the trap, glossy nightclubs downtown, and college dorm rooms around the country.
Standouts include the Young Chop produced “Blocka” (same producer, different beat from the Pusha T song of the same name), which features French Montana, Meek Mill, T.I. and a reinvigorated Young Dro. Also worth checking is the “Let Me Find Out” remix with features from Juicy J and Tip.
G.D.O.D. is definitely a bloated affair with Grand Hustle new and old all having a go at varied production, with several guests, and a number combinations, but there should be something here for everybody. Apparently, the Hustle Gang is just getting warmed up and are prepping for a compilation album to be released this fall.
