If you can afford it, buying a Lamborghini is a pretty sound investment. Any Lambo is certainly a head turner, but what if you could turn heads while on land and on water?
An eBay seller out of the UK by the name of paulcross is trying to sell his Z1A which according to his listing is, “the world’s fastest amphibious car.” The vehicle is modeled after a Lamborghini Countach, but the key word here is ‘modeled’ so if you need your Lambo to be well, an actual Lambo you’ll be disappointed.
According to the eBay listing, the vehicle; which is listed as a “Ryan Rover V8 Sports” has been around the block more than a few times. It was originally built as a righthand drive vehicle, then shipped to Hollywood to be converted to lefthand drive, then back to the UK and converted again to righthand drive. Where has it been for the past 15 years? Apparently in storage and the listing clearly states that the amphibious auto will need “TLC”.
In order for this unique car to get back to its originally glory (which according to pictures used in the listing, that glory was somewhere between 1988 to 1992), you’ll need to put in a lot of work. The car doesn’t have any seats, breaks, or tires but, if you have roughly $26,800 burning a hole in your pocket you can own something truly unique. However it might take you years before it sees the road let alone water.
