Although it was Clarkson who won the first season of American Idol, the two went on to star in From Justin to Kelly. The always delightful Kelly Clarkson stopped by Watch What Happens Live last night, however, and host Andy Cohen asked her whether or not she and Justin were ever an item.
In a nutshell, yes, Kelly and Justin dated. However, the relationship was due to the fact that they were forced to spend inordinate amounts of time together. (Kelly Clarkson recently said that she cried and begged to get out of her contract for From Justin to Kelly.) Aww, young love!
