Kim Kardashian Is Hyping A New Energy Drink In This Bizarre Short Film

Some time last year, Hype energy drink appropriately enough decided that Kim Kardashian would be a good brand ambassador for their beverage, and started paying her to show up at ribbon cuttings or whatever.

Their latest, I guess, “ad campaign” is a two-and-a-half-minute “short film” that stretches very thin the definition of the word “film.” Watch as Kim falls off a bike and then shows off her powdered wig/cleavage-bearing abilities! First, she’s Audrey Hepburn (and looks pretty good with bangs), then she has a coma dream about being Marie Antoinette, and then there’s 5 seconds of a magazine fashion shoot tacked on the end like someone accidentally forgot to delete the first draft of this ad.

As far as concussion hallucinations go, it’s pretty tame. As far as advertisements for caffeinated drinks go, I guess it’s pretty tame, too.

What do you think the budget was for fringe? Was there a second unit director just for closeups of the ridiculous engagement ring, that honestly is so big it looks like the toy jewelry you get from a plastic egg? I have more questions than answers.
