There’s something about merging Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with innocuous characters and animals that just seems right. I’ve seen a few different parodies over the years and always appreciated them. Then the other day I came across the OG ambiguously gay duo parody, then the Shark Week edition, and I felt like they all needed to be assembled and kept somewhere safe for posterity, like a museum. But since I haven’t renewed my Madame Tussauds season pass right here will have to do.
I’m thinking of screenprinting the Toonces one on a tank top.
Oh, and I tried my best to source all these back to the original creators, but that’s a tall task when you’re on multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, and laughers. Add an original sources in the comments and they’ll get updated.
