Peter Jackson’s Tummy Troubles Will Slightly Delay The Hobbit

So, it looks like The Hobbit has hit another snag, and this one’s in Peter Jackson’s guts.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Jackson was hospitalized with stomach pains on Wednesday. He went through surgery for a perforated ulcer at Wellington Hospital and, according to a press release from Jackson’s reps, he’s recovering comfortably and will make a full recovery. But, according to the release, it will end up in a slight delay to the start of filming The Hobbit next month.

So, the movie’s lost one director, ticked off (and then put in their place) just about every acting union in the world and now Jackson’s in the hospital. Can we finally just say these films are cursed?
