When you go to a comic convention and see someone in a Darth Vader costume, it can inspire a sense of awe because that’s someone who really put some effort into their cosplay and an expression of their fan love. But if you saw something similar walk into a bank, one assumes that awe would be the furthest thing from your mind, and that’s unfortunately the situation that people inside a North Carolina credit union had to deal with yesterday during a robbery.
From WSOC:
The robbery happened around 11:45 a.m. Monday at the Pineville State Employees Credit Union. Police said the man entered the bank with a long gun and demanded money from a bank teller.
Witnesses told police the man was about 5 feet 5 inches tall and was wearing dark clothing including the mask.
The suspect fled the scene in a gray Chevy Suburban, and police are still searching for him. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the robbery, though an undisclosed amount of money was taken.
