Perhaps more than any other fans besides comic book lovers, the gamers are subject to the unfair stereotypes that stigmatize their favorite form of entertainment. Gamers are supposed to be teenage boys who obsessively play first person shooters in their parents basement. And while that accurately describes some gamers, when you look at all gamers you can see it’s a much more diverse group of people.
