Despite delaying the official announcement following the Nice, France terrorist attack, Donald Trump confirmed speculation that Indiana Governor Mike Pence would be his running mate on Friday. The news, which Trump revealed on social media and in a subsequent campaign email to donors, will be discussed at length during a Saturday morning press conference scheduled for 11 a.m. local time. Yet all anyone on Twitter can talk about is the new logo, a rather small version of which debuted in the aforementioned email. Why? Because it leaves little to the imagination.
Here’s a pixelated, enlarged look at the Trump-Pence ticket’s official logo.
And here’s what the journalists, Twitter trolls, and lay persons covering the Trump campaign think about it. Just in case you were wondering, yes … “penetration” jokes abound.

Trump & Pence already have a *very* close relationship, judging by what the T is doing to the P in this logo pic.twitter.com/2QtamhRYQD

This logo is an accurate representation of what running with Trump is doing to Pence's political career. https://t.co/IQOL3frEgJ

That’s a lot of “Trump’s giant ‘T’ looks like it’s violating Pence’s giant ‘P'” jokes. In case you were hoping everyone would make cracks about something else, however, then you’ll only be disappointed.
Congratulations to @pentagram on the new Trump🍆Pence logo. pic.twitter.com/y4GIkMTrDP

If you put the Hillary logo next to the Trump logo, it looks like they're double-teaming Pence pic.twitter.com/gnlTzEZskM

A few tweeters did opt for the non-dick joke route, but only a few.
I gave Trump's awful new logo the standard Trump campaign team logo treatment. pic.twitter.com/BjUMWOAsgH

So, uh, there's more than a passing resemblance to the Trump/Pence logo here. pic.twitter.com/2IdkCZUpmZ

Lest we forget the Trump-Pence ticket’s ability to be shortened to “TP,” here’s the necessary Beavis & Butt-head reference.
