As you probably know, California is currently experiencing its worst drought in history. So a grassroots campaign is advocating that Californians “drop a brick” in their toilet tanks (which would usually be considered an “upper decker”) so less space is taken up by water, thereby saving households two gallons of water per day, per person. See? It’s funny because dropping a brick is a euphemism for pooping, so we all win.
You don’t need to live in California to drop a brick in your toilet, this will work for anyone who wants to conserve water. If you don’t have a brick for some reason, you can donate to the campaign’s Indiegogo and they will send you one in the mail.
