Jill Stein Embraces The Internet And Endorses Her Own Dank Memes

Green Party candidate Jill Stein seems to be trying to court Bernie Sanders supporters by embracing the “dank memes” her online supporters are creating in her honor. “The people who brought you this dank meme that made me giggle are now on Twitter,” she tweeted. “Follow @DankJillMemes!”

Unfortunately, @DankJillMemes has a lot of work to do if they want to catch up to the masterwork that was Bernie Sanders’ Dank Meme Stash. Despite plenty of material to work with — like Stein’s 90s folk rock band — the Dank Jill Memes are often cringeworthy in their unfunniness. Mostly, they focus on Hillary Clinton:

The account also resurrects Harambe — a dead Gorilla meme that is currently neck-and-neck with Stein in the polls.

In another, Dank Jill Memes quotes Julian Assange — who cannot vote in the United States — comparing the choice between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton to a choosing between Cholera and Gonorrhea.

In a rare pro-Stein tweet, the Dank Meme curators rhyme “Netflix and chill” with “Debt-fix and Jill,” insinuating that Stein will be able to fix the student debt problem.

We do wonder whether or not Dr. Stein is checking on her Dank Memes on Wi-Fi, which she previously claimed is damaging to the human brain.
