As if you needed further reason to get on board with #TeamDryLand, take a gander at this horrifying creature that was caught on the small Caribbean island of Carriacou, just a few miles from Grenada. We say “creature” due to the fact that no one knows what the hell to make of it, as it seems to be equipped with a “human” nose, as well as a tail, feet, wings and scales.
Hope McLawrence, a veteran and a 74-year-old fisherman, recently came about the fish-thing when he was hauling in his nets, but neither he nor experts have been able to identify it.
The foot-long beast had two feet with toes, no fin, a long bone on its back and ‘a perfect human nose immediately above its mouth’ according to Mr McLawrence.
‘I have never discovered anything like this before. The wings and tail looks extremely complicated.’
Mr. McLawrence, who has more than fifty years experience in the fishing industry added ‘By the look of the creature it cannot swim but apparently walks on the sea bed.
Some are hypothesizing that the creature is a “frogfish,” not unlike the one that was discovered off the coast of New Zealand just a few weeks ago. Why are fish with legs suddenly deciding to take it upon themselves to stroll on out of the ocean? And here, back in 2015 the worst things we had to deal with were testicle-chomping fish with human teeth and this three-eyed monstrosity.
