CM Punk is continuing his jilted lover tour by taking time every few months to say something crappy about his time in WWE. If you hate it so much, leave then, Phil! *makes shooting motion with fingers*
One person tweeted out a reminder that, six years ago, CM Punk cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to beat Edge for his first World Championship run. Punk responded that Edge (and JBL) were the only people willing to put guys over.
Shout out to Edge for being the only guy not afraid to put over young talent at the time. (JBLtoo) https://t.co/c5u0axC3En

It may come off as unnecessary sour grapes, but when I think about it, I can’t think of a ton of guys who lost to Punk on his way up, especially during his first run. It was really his mic work and connection with the crowd that got him over more than wins and losses.
Personally, I wonder how Jericho feels about that, as he was in the mix with Punk in 2012 and has been the target of a few of Punk’s barbs over the last year and a half.
Salute to Edge for being the only person CM Punk has ever liked, I guess.
