Here we go again. After Seth Rollins’ Nazi Bae, Zahra Schreiber, had her past social media posts revealed and she was outed as a racist, you’d think most WWE personalities would go through a social media purge of some sort.
That’s apparently not the case, as young NXT prospect Nhooph Al-Areebi — who’s been wrestling live events as Jasmin — had old tweets with n-bombs surface on Wednesday. Here are some of those tweets:
Okay, so she’s probably not going to be fired. But the whole thing is still weird. Al-Areebi is just 20 years old, according to the Internet, which would have made her 16 or 17 when these messages went out. I think it sucks that social media messages from teenagers are going to be used to cost people jobs later in life, but hey, this would all be a moot point if she never thought it was okay to drop n-bombs in the first place.
I just don’t know why anyone would keep a Twitter or Instagram profile active from before he or she was famous. We’re all prone to have something dumb revealed. I can’t feel too bad for her, though, because n-bombs deserve Karmic revenge no matter how old people are when they drop them.
Tough break, kiddo.
