Tonight, on the hopefully bug-free return of the With Spandex WWE Raw open discussion thread:
If you were anybody besides Kane, Brock Lesnar or The New Day, last Monday’s Raw was a rough outing. John Cena won, but got beat up. Same for The Dudley Boyz, while Dolph Ziggler didn’t even get to compete before he got taken out of the equation. And Summer Rae? Well, we’ll get to her. From Superstars and Divas looking strong on the road to “Hell,” to those who feel like they’re already burned, here’s what WWE.com predicts for Monday’s Raw.
Our five-point preview:
1. Lana and Rusev’s real-life engagement is TMZ-level news now, so can we skip the romantic intrigue and get straight to their Macho/Liz reunion? I want those giant photos of Putin back.
2. Kane has been given an ultimatum: If he doesn’t defeat Seth Rollins at Night of Hell Cells, he’ll lose his Director of Operations job. I hope this week they add the stipulation that only Rollins can reinstate him, and the Raw after Hell in a Cell is Rollins giving in when Kane threatens to beat him up once.
3. Have you ever wanted to own a Brie Mode tapestry throw? Now you can!
4. It’s hard to get a five-point preview out of Raws like this. Uh, John Cena will be in action, probably! He’s taking some time off after Hell in a Cell, right? Are we gonna get that Cena/Heath Slater match before he leaves? Does anyone care about this besides me and Heath Slater?
5. Currently a poll on WWE.com:
Let me watch hour two until about halfway through hour three, and I’ll get back to you.
