New England Patriot’s player Rob Gronkowski is arguably Mojo Rawley’s most notable fan, ignoring, of course, that there’s probably not much competition in that department for the NXT performer. Last night, Gronk showed up to support his energetic friend by staying as hype as possible at the WWE Live show in Providence, Rhode Island. Warning: The video below contains a lot of hype:

Their relationship has sparked rumours in the past of Gronk’s potential involvement with WWE. While the company is no stranger to scooping up football players and trying to turn them into pro wrestling juggernauts (with…varying degrees of success), it’s doubtful we’ll see Gronk suiting up in matching Hype Bro gear and looking like the human equivalent of Brach’s Rocks anytime soon. We could, however, see him get involved in a very different sort of venture.

The latest rumor, according to PWInsider.com, is that the tight end could become a part of the growing WWE-Tapout relationship. Back in March, Tapout was announced as the official fitness and training partner of WWE. The joint venture is meant to be “a newly repositioned fitness lifestyle brand.” WWE is supposedly hoping to get deeper into the fitness market by opening a celebrity-endorsed chain of fitness centers in a handful of major cities. You know, work out where the WWE Superstars and Divas work out when they’re in town, and if Finn Balor’s abs aren’t enough to convince you, here’s this other athlete you’ve probably heard of!

The fitness center rumors have been going around for a bit, but there hasn’t been any official information released on the project. I dunno if working out with Gronk and his…enthusiastic friends is enough to get me pumped about switching gyms, but if Alicia Fox told me I could get her arms for a low monthly membership, I’d be there in a heartbeat.
