In the least surprising news ever, Roman Reigns will be the first entrant in the 2016 Royal Rumble. The news was announced on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, and of course the whole thing was rigged so Reigns would enter the match at the No. 1 spot.
This will be the third Rumble for Reigns, and through his first two matches, he’s done really well. He debuted in the 2014 match and set the Rumble record with 12 eliminations before being the last person eliminated, and last year, he eliminated six men en route to winning the entire thing from the number 19 spot.
Despite this, odds are Reigns will still win the entire match, because that “One vs. All” line WWE has been saying about him is massive giveaway to how this whole thing is going to go down. Or he’s going to be eliminated by Triple H, who returns at the number 30 spot and we get like three more months of Roman vs. The Authority. Or he’ll be tossed out by all four members of the Social Outcasts. Ideally that third scenario’s the one that happens, but probably not.
