Meet Bryce. Bryce is friends with the late, great Paul Bearer’s family. Such good friends, in fact, that they gifted him Pawbear’s WWE Hall of Fame ring. Bryce is returning that favor by selling it for a lowball offer on Pawn Stars. The only upside is him pulling a Bad News Barrett-style swerve in the explanation for why he’s selling, where he says he wants to “get as much money as I can,” followed by, “for me.”
If you want to be extra infuriated, check out Rick from Pawn Stars making sure to preface the conversation with a bunch of “wrestling is fake” jokes. He even mentions that he told his kids wrestling was fake, which is only acceptable if they’re trying to piledriver each other through furniture in your living room or whatever and you need to make them stop. Hey, kids, are you enjoying this? WELL I’M AFRAID I’VE GOT SOME BAD NEWS. Oh, cool, they’re both doing Barrett.
But yeah, no, I wish Jake The Snake had come around the corner and tossed Bryce into a Funeral Parlor casket. The good news I guess is that Pawn Stars is just as much of a work as pro wrestling, so hopefully the guy’s not actually selling the ring. Hopefully they just borrowed the ring to have a strange thing to sell on the show. Either that, or people don’t care about extremely emotionally loaded jewelry.
The Undertaker should buy it and strike Bryce with stage lightning.
