Adele is one of the biggest stars in the world. She sells records in a world that doesn’t sell records. Her concerts sell out quickly and are considered major events. As such, it should come as no surprise that Adele was willing to stop her show to chastise somebody who was filming the concert.

In the midst of doing her concert, Adele singled out a woman filming the show, saying, “Yeah, I want to tell that lady, as well, can you stop filming me with a video camera because I’m really here in real life. You can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera.” The singer, who also pointed out the woman in the crowd, didn’t stop there, adding, “Can you take your tripod down? This isn’t a DVD, this is a real show. I’d really like you to enjoy my show because there’s lots of people outside that couldn’t come in.”

Yes, apparently there is a woman out there who figured she could just bring a tripod and a video camera into Adele’s show and film it without consequence. Obviously, she figured wrong, because nobody messes with Adele. If you are planning on going to a future Adele concert, maybe think about leaving the tripod at home, and just enjoying the show.

You can, ironically enough, watch fan shot video of Adele asking the woman to stop filming her show:
