WWE Raw Results 6/27/16

Here are your quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Raw results for June 27, 2016. The show featured John Cena vs. Seth Rollins, and was headlined by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose taking on AJ Styles. Be here tomorrow for the full Best and Worst of Raw column.

WWE Raw Results:

– The show opened with Seth Rollins discussing Roman Reigns’ suspension, and how he should be taken out of the triple threat at Battleground. He was interrupted by Dean Ambrose, who said the match should stay as announced. They were interrupted by AJ Styles, who wanted into the match, and then John Cena, who wanted the same. Stephanie McMahon made Ambrose vs. Styles and Rollins vs. Cena, with the stipulation that if Cena or Styles win, they get into the main event at Battleground.

1. Sasha Banks and Paige defeated Charlotte and Dana Brooke. Banks made Brooke tap out to a Banks Statement.

2. Titus O’Neil defeated Rusev. Titus won by count-out after a ringside brawl.

3. Seth Rollins defeated John Cena. Cena had Rollins in the STF, but was distracted by The Club. That allowed Rollins to hit Cena with a Pedigree and win.

4. Enzo Amore and Big Cass defeated jobbers. Enzo and Cass won almost immediately with a Rocket Launcher. After the match, the Social Outcasts returned, claiming to be “hard.” Cass booted Heath Slater.

Becky Lynch vs. Summer Rae never happened. Natalya was on commentary, so Lynch left the ring and attacked her.

– Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were guests on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel. They argued, agreed to a match at Battleground, then double super-kicked Jericho.

5. Intercontinental Championship Match: Kane defeated The Miz (c). This match was made earlier in the night by Corporate Kane as a means to make Miz defend his title. Maryse faked an injury during the match, so Miz helped her to the back, getting intentionally counted-out.

6. Apollo Crews and Cesaro defeated Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio turned on Sheamus and attacked him, leaving him on his own. Crews hit a spin-out powerbomb to pin Sheamus.

– New Day dressed up as the Wyatt Family and made fun of them. The Wyatts interrupted them, saying Xavier Woods was “shook” and that the New Day would fall.

7. Dean Ambrose defeated AJ Styles. The Club tried to interfere, but were stopped by John Cena. Styles was distracted by this, allowing Ambrose to hit him with Dirty Deeds for the win. After the match, Seth Rollins Pedigreed Ambrose and The Club took out Cena on the stage with a Magic Killer.
