Everyone’s Talking About These Pics Of Conor McGregor At UFC 200

While Ronda Rousey continues to be missing in action, the UFC’s other huge superstar, Conor McGregor, was in attendance at UFC 200. He arrived on Thursday for a press conference with Nate Diaz for their UFC 202 fight, and then stuck around to watch Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar battle it out for the interim version of his featherweight title. As you can tell from these pictures, he took that fight very seriously.

McGregor probably isn’t too pleased with the result. A win for Edgar would have set up another big money fight for McGregor at UFC 205 in Madison Square Garden (Edgar is a New Jersey native). Instead, Aldo won, setting up a rematch that McGregor has already promoted twice before due to a questionable injury Jose took in the lead up to their first fight date.

But if this video is any indication, McGregor is perfectly willing to step up and fight Aldo again.

After his fight, Aldo was shown the photos of McGregor mean mugging the two fighters and asked what he thought.

“I don’t think anything about this guy,” he said dismissively. “I’m the champion and I’m going to continue being the champion.”

Another nice bit of trolling from Aldo, who continues to publicly act like McGregor’s 13-second knockout over him never happened. Now that he has the interim belt, he’s likely to pretend that Conor’s not the real champion, too. No wonder McGregor is looking so peeved in these pictures.
