Damien Sandow Heading To Impact Wrestling Is Today’s Worst-Kept Wrestling Secret

Former WWE Superstar Damien Sandow — currently going by Aron Stevens — is on his way to the portable Impact Zone. OR IS HE??

Naw, he totally is.

The former stunt double and Magneto imposter tweeted out a link to this Rolling Stone article, touting the signing of one of pro wrestling’s biggest free agents. No, they didn’t get Will Ospreay out of that pesky New Japan contract. It looks like the dulcet tones of the Intellectual Savior of the Masses will be joining fellow ex-WWE performers Drew Galloway, Ethan Carter III, and … well, okay, like most of the Impact roster used to work for them, sorry.

Just over three months ago, Sandow was future-endeavored alongside names like Alex Riley, Hornswoggle, and a few others we’re thankful won’t be joining him on his way to TNA. The creative freedom of Impact Wrestling could actually end up having a great effect on Sandow, a fan-favourite who was often viewed as overly-talented and sorely underused during his tenure in WWE. I mean, after all, it worked wonders for Derrick Bateman’s superior cousin:

Whether you’re optimistic about his new career path, or that person sitting at home begging TNA to leave the memories alone, we can all be certain of one thing: whatever he decides to go by, his name’s gotta be better than “Braxton Sutter.”
