Not only is he on the Mount Rushmore of great wrestlers, he’s one of the best talkers of all time. On top of that, he’s introduced dozens of words into the American lexicon. #BootsToAsses – This is a hashtag that Rock started. Did you know it was trending worldwide once?
Finally…The Rock Has Come Back to…- When the Rock shows up somewhere, he says that he’s finally there even if he hasn’t ever been there before. Also, for dramatic effect when he comes back to the WWE he pauses for two minutes and says “…home.”
If You Smell What The Rock Is Cooking – Originally this was meant to say, “hey, are you enjoying what I’m saying?” However, it ended up meaning “I don’t have much more to say so just say this thing with me so I can go.”
It Doesn’t Matter – Rock asks a question. Someone tries to answer and he cuts them off with “It Doesn’t Matter.” More important: he did a song with Wyclef based on this catchphrase.
Know Your Role And Shut Your Mouth – This is from the Rock’s first prime as a member of the Nation of Domination. This phrase makes my heart sing.
Just Bring It – You know how John Cena says “want some, come get some?” This is that but more succinct and not said in a preacher voice and has zero chance of ending with “Jack.”
Kung Pao Bitch – The Rock was at catering one day and saw John Cena. This made Rock call John Cena a Kung Pao bitch. The crowd chanted along. I have no clue what this means.
Lay The Smackdown! – The Rock coined the word “smackdown” and it became a word in the actual dictionary. WWE went on the name a show after the word.
Layeth The Smackethdown – The King Edward version of the original phrase.
The Millions (AND MILLIONS) – This started off really hilariously as Rock would declare he had millions of fans at a time when he was the most hated wrestler in the company. Then, as he got popular, fans started to chime in. It then became funny when Mankind said called his fans “the dozens.”
The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment – This is also one of the early Rock catchphrases. “Sports” got removed once he became a Hollywood guy and he just said “alllll of entertainment.”
The People’s Eyebrow – The Rock can lift an eyebrow and it was the most heel move in the company for a while. And it was made even better by the fact he called it The People’s Eyebrow. God, he was brilliant.
Poontang Pie – Vagina pie. Rock once scorned a high school sweetheart for not letting him finger her and give him said pie.
Roody Poo Candy Ass – I think this means you’re gay…I think.

At Smackdown Hotel” – Rock is an Elvis fan with Elvis sideburns, so he turns Elvis lyrics to his catchphrases. I have no idea what this particular line has to do with wrestling.
Strudel – Get it? Women have pie and men have strudels. Rock called his penis a strudel. You know, these things sound a bit silly when I type them out.
Take Object A. Shine it up real nice. Stick it straight up your candy ass – Objects Rock has threatened to shine up: a whistle, another human being, a title belt, a boot, Kane’s voice box.
Who In The Blue Hell Are You? – The Rock doesn’t know who most people are, so he asks who the blue hell someone is. For some reason I like to pretend that The Rock has developed a backstory to where hell exists in the Blues Clues or Smurfs universe.
Yabba Dabba Bitch – So John Cena looks like a box of Fruity Pebbles. That was legitimately funny. However, during their feud, things fell off the rails and Rock started calling him a Yabba Dabba Bitch. I…sigh. Okay, this was a rough patch in his career.
You Will Go One On One With The Great One – It rhymes. Also it means that Rock will wrestle an opponent. This was important to know.
