UFC Hall of Famer and mixed martial arts legend Dan “The Beast” Severn has some words of wisdom for the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion:
“I think Brock Lesnar should just count his lucky stars. He has been given opportunities that he didn’t deserve.”
Severn added:
“Me personally, outside looking in? Better stay with your professional wrestling. It’ll be a lot easier on your body.”
Severn should know a thing or two about being a crossover star, having held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship twice, winning UFC’s Ultimate Ultimate tournament in 1995, two standard UFC tournaments, and being the last Superfight Champion.
It’s not just Brock that Severn weighed in on, though. He’s also got some thoughts about the Kimbo Slice vs. Ken Shamrock bout that Bellator has decided to put together in, the year of our lord, 2015.
He doesn’t offer a full prediction, at least not one that would be recognized by the prestigious Uproxx Sports MMA picks crew, but he said that Kimbo would take the fight if it was a stand up contest, while Ken needs to get the fight to the ground. Those are keys to the cage, Dan.
