Over the weekend, I attended a friends and family screening of Dude Bro Party Massacre III, from the 5-Second Films gang (in advance of its LA Film Festival premiere next week), a film that offers, among other things, cameos from such luminaries as Larry King, Patton Oswalt, and legendary party dude Andrew WK. I’m still editing a Frotcast interview I recorded with some of the 5SF crew (pro tip: never edit a podcast), but in the meantime, I thought I’d share this tidbit about the goody bag Andrew WK requested each day of shooting. A packet to which he would refer as “my character supplies.”
- A bag of Cool Ranch Doritos
- A fifth of Jägermeister
- Two cans of Four Loko (with 5-Hour Energy drinks to pour into them, since Four Loko no longer has caffeine)
- Another bag of Cool Ranch Doritos
They also say he convinced the make-up artist to make his teeth look yellowed, requiring him to drink his Four Loko and Jäger through a straw to keep from messing it up, even though he only has a 30-second cameo.
