In the DC universe, Metron is the fountain of all knowledge. One of the New Gods, he’s essentially Spock with a TARDIS and absolutely no moral sense whatsoever, crossing the universe, absorbing every last scrap of knowledge and trivia. There’s almost no mystery unknowable to him, no truth he cannot uncover, no meaning he cannot divine.
And amid all that omniscience, you’d think Metron would realize Batman could totally steal his chair and all its knowledge. But arrogance trumps intelligence, every time, and now the Justice League has a big problem on its hands.
