WWE Superstar John Cena Wants You To Promote Global Harmony By Wearing Crocs

WWE Superstar John Cena has finally made that heel turn fans have been begging for with his latest endorsement. Alongside singers Yoona and Henry Lau, and Drew Barrymore and her finest Canadian Tuxedo, Cena wants you to embrace your differences (okay, sure, good so far) and start wearing Crocs (oh god no). Some would say Cena himself is the Crocs of pro wrestling — some people love him, some people hate him, little kids don’t really care and will wear whatever you tell them to.

The latest campaign from the divisive shoe company wants you to “Come as you are,” but probably not in that heroin-based Nirvana song way. We hope. Crocs wants you to embrace your differences and celebrate being unique by wearing world-famous rubber clogs:

Welcome to our celebration of the rebellious, the impossible to categorize, the uniquely defined in all of us. Have a look around and explore what it really means to be comfortable in your own shoes.

It’s an awfully ambitious goal from a shoe as universally goofed-upon as Crocs, but John Cena is nothing if not awfully ambitious himself. Besides, he’s got a big television wedding to plan for, and those ain’t cheap. Daddy needs that Croc money.
