‘SNL’ Gives All The Overly Sensitive Young Boys Their Own Special Gift For Christmas

Were you a sensitive boy growing up? Did you have trouble fitting in? Was there a desperate need for people to understand you to no avail? Saturday Night Live knows the feeling but also knows you’re already too old for help. Your kids aren’t, though, and that’s where the Fisher-Price Sensitive Boy toy line comes into play. It starts with a well, where your sensitive young man can reflect on his wants and needs in between viewings of Y Tu Mamá También, a movie that doesn’t seem to be for kids but then again how many kids are spending their times lamenting life around a well these days.

I don’t understand and you probably don’t either, but that’s the point. Along with the well, you can also buy your sensitive little guy a balcony for dramatic proclamations and a shattered mirror for a look at the complex nature of one’s self. Some folks just use the Berenstain Bears to get by, but children in the modern age are layered. Anthropomorphised bears just aren’t going to cut it with today’s kids.

Definitely an interesting sketch, with some top notch casting. There’s no shortage of sh*tty kids out there, so finding the one kid that gets yelled at by Emma Stone couldn’t have been tough. But they really found a top notch kid for the sensitive boy. You really believe he’s in tune with that well.
