On September 24 and 25, members of The West Wing cast, a beloved show among political staffers, will appear at campaign stops for Hillary Clinton across the battleground state of Ohio.
According to a campaign press release, “Toby, C.J., Josh, Charlie, Will, and Kate (a.k.a. actors Richard Schiff, Allison Janney, Bradly Whitford, Dulé Hill, Joshua Malina and Mary McCormack) will participate in grassroots organizing events across Ohio with stops in the Mahoning Valley, Cleveland, Sandusky and Toledo areas on Saturday and in the Dayton and Columbus areas on Sunday. The actors will discuss why they are supporting Clinton and urge Ohioans to register to vote ahead of the October 11 deadline and to get involved in organizing their communities ahead of November’s election.”
The campaign swing will culminate with a rally in Columbus that is sure to prominently feature the cast members.
Though some journalists were quick to point out that The West Wing isn’t exactly a current television show, the appearances are sure to spark excitement among longtime fans of the show, many of whom are politically engaged Democrats.
Fun Fact: The West Wing premiered 17 years ago tomorrow. Has been off-air for more than a decade. https://t.co/NNwUKMjRkm

Though Martin Sheen is noticeably absent from the reunion, he starred in an ad for Save The Day, a get out the vote organization. “We cannot pretend both sides are equally unfavorable,” President Bartlett says. Anyway, Josh and Will are excited.
