Adam Rose released

WWE has granted Adam Rose’s request to be released, as of today, May 23, 2016. WWE wishes Rose the best in all his future endeavors.

This comes after Rose’s recent arrest on charges of battery domestic violence and tampering with a witness during the early morning hours of May 11. Rose was already serving a 60-day suspension for violating WWE’s Wellness Policy, and after his arrest was put on indefinite suspension.

Rose – real name Roy Leppan – is a South African wrestler signed by WWE in 2010. Leppan performed as man-hunting Leo Kruger first in Florida Championship Wrestling where he was a two-time FCW Champion, and then later moved on to NXT. Leppan was repackaged into Adam Rose in 2014 with a series of vignettes for the Exotic Express. Rose was a consummate partier with an entourage of ‘Rose Buds’ that included Becky Lynch and Simon Gotch before they struck out to become NXT performers in their own right. Rose would go from the life of the party to a Social Outcast when he joined the stable alongside Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, and the consistently co-dependent Heath Slater earlier this year.
