WWE2K17 is being rolled out in dribs and drabs, but they can afford to do that, considering the massive number of wrestlers being included in the game. In addition to dropping the entrance video for current Tag Team Champions The New Day, a new batch of wrestlers has been unveiled, including some pretty big names, both past and present.
Speaking of the aforementioned New Day, two members of that trio were unveiled this week. While Big E was already announced, now Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have joined him to complete the set. AJ Styles is one of the headliners of the new group, and is making his official WWE video game debut. Finally, no having to download a fan-created AJ!
The other big additions this time, also making their WWE video game debuts, are Becky Lynch and Dana Brooke. They’ll join Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Charlotte, and suddenly we’re just a Bayley shy of a full Four Horsewomen party.
As for the WWE Legends, a lot of big names were included in this reveal. We’re talking Shawn Michaels, Sting, and Macho Man Randy Savage, just for starters. Two of the leading ladies of the Attitude Era, Lita and Trish Stratus, are also included. Also, the Bushwhackers!
The WWE2K17 roster is looking pretty impressive so far, and they also have a Diddy-produced soundtrack as well. That should pair well with the Bushwhackers. Here’s the full list of wrestlers who are part of this update:
