Brie Bella And Daniel Bryan Welcome Their New Daughter Birdie To The World

Congratulations are due to Total Divas and Total Bellas stars (and WWE Superstars as well, we guess) Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan, because they welcomed their daughter to the world at 11:58 p.m. on Tuesday night. Birdie Joe Danielson, a perfectly healthy girl, was born weighing 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and is 21 inches. That’s on the bigger side for a baby, so buckle up for a second-generation wrestler in about 18 years.

There had been much fretting on the Bellas’ and Bryan’s social media in the past week, as Brie’s projected due date had been 30th, and she was over a week past due, but now the happy day is finally here!

The timing of this birth actually could not have been more perfect, because not only is Mother’s Day this weekend, but the Total Divas season six finale airs on Wednesday night. I guess good timing is a Danielson genetic trait.

The happy news was announced via WWE.com:

“There is no better feeling in the world than meeting your daughter,” a jubilant Brie said. “I can’t even express the overwhelming joy and love that Bryan and I are feeling. Now we know what parents mean about the love you feel when you first meet your child. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers on the safety of Birdie coming into this world.”

Though there aren’t really any images of Birdie out there just yet, you can bet there will be a flood of them coming soon from the Bellas’ Instagram accounts and elsewhere. WWE.com also suggested following the Bellas’ YouTube channel for videos and updates, so we’re now on baby watch! LITERALLY.
