Phil “CM Punk” Brooks is still holed away in Milwaukee, training at Roufusport before his UFC debut. There is a slight update, though. It looks like he’s finally thrown hands with another person in a semi-serious setting.

According to head coach Duke Roufus, Punk recently had his first ever MMA fight scrimmage, which, as far as I’m aware, isn’t actually a thing. Punk squared off against 4-0 welterweight prospect Craig Eckelberg.
Eckelberg, who has wins over guys like the 2-6, 43-year-old Ron Imhoff (Presumably no relation to Buck Zumhofe), seemed to enjoy sparring with him, but how did Punk feel about the situation?

I guess he’s happy because he’s one of the few newbies to not get “greenlit” in sparring while at Roufusport.
