Erick Rowan Will Miss 4-6 Months With An Injury As The Tag Team Division Continues To Crumble

In bad news from the Wrestling Observer newsletter, ‘Big Red’ Erick Rowan is expected to miss four to six months with a torn bicep. This is only a few weeks after he and former tag-team partner Luke Harper had reunited and were looking to get back in the tag-team championship picture.

The injury happened during Rowan’s June 19 match with Cesaro in Saginaw, Michigan. It’s the latest in a string of injuries that have cursed WWE’s tag team scene in 2015. Jey Uso of The Usos dislocated his shoulder at WrestleMania and went on the shelf for six months. Cesaro’s partner Tyson Kidd is expected to miss more than a year after having spinal-fusion surgery on Wednesday. Fernando of Los Matadores should be really careful over the next few weeks and make sure nobody drops a piano on him.

At least Rowan has his award-winning wine business to fall back on.
