On Friday morning, the wrestling world woke up to the shocking news that WWE had cut ties with legendary pro wrestler Hulk Hogan — including scrubbing him from their website and online shop, as well as removing him as host of their reality series Tough Enough — following rumors of a “racist rant.” Hogan and WWE both addressed the situation, but no one was talking specifics.
The National Enquirer and Radar Online claim to have the audio that caused the disassociation, taken from the full sex tape that currently has Hogan at Gawker Media’s throat. It was uncovered via a “joint investigation.”
According to this report, Hogan has a brutally prejudiced conversation with Heather Clem — Hogan’s sex partner in the tape and wife of radio DJ Bubba the Love Sponge — about his daughter Brooke’s music career. Hogan reportedly says that Brooke had wasted millions of dollars of his money making “bad decisions” in her music career, and that her only remaining option was to make “beach records.” That leads Hogan into a rant about a “black billionaire guy” who had offered to fund her music career, and that’s when the hard-to-read stuff starts.
Via the Enquirer:
At that point on the tape, the former “Hogan Knows Best” star bemoaned how a “black billionaire guy” had offered to fund her music career.
He also attempts to use bizarre, twisted logic in an attempt to justify his bigotry at the man.
“I don’t know if Brooke was f*cking the black guy’s son,” Hulk raved, the sources add.
“I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f*cking n*ggers. But then when it comes to nice people and sh*t, and whatever.”
According to sources, he said: “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*ck some n*gger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n*gger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!
“I guess we’re all a little racist. F*cking n*gger.”
The National Enquirer may seem like an iffy source, but they’ve broken huge stories in the past, including the John Edwards love child scandal and Tiger Woods’ affairs. If this is truly the audio from the sex tape and it’s finally going public, you can understand why WWE’s want to distance themselves from Hulk. More as it develops.
